Antonella`s Profile

Antonella Sant

Antonella joined the Mosta Scouts Group in August 1998, as a scout member. During this period Antonella earned a lot of training within the Troop Section, where she also earned the Three Cross Award with the St. John`s Ambulance.  She has also participated in various activities within the troop section which helped her later on as a helper within the cubs section.  In 2001 Antonella was nominated from the GSL to help within the Cubs Section as a helper.

In 2001 Antonella started helping the cubs section and later on in 2002 she started the Leadership Courses. She was certified as an Acting Cub Scout Leader in 2004, following other certificates of an Assistant Cub Scout Leader and Basic Adult Leadership Course in 2007. Antonella was presented with the Woodbadge certificate during the AGM in February 2009.

Antonella is still working within the Cubs Section and in Founders` Day 2009 she was presented a 5 year service badge as a leader in scouting. Even though Antonella does not recognise her self as having a lot of individual experiences within the Troop Section since she was nominated to help within the cubs Section at an early age, she still loves the Cub section because she achieves a lot of satisfaction. Although the Cub Section is quite demanding for the Leaders, she still feels fulfilled that she can be of a service to the young scouters.

In the meantime, Antonella followed a lot of courses including First Aid course with St.John`s Ambulance, Food safety and Hygiene within the health Department, Weather Course with the Malta Weather Service, and Life Saving Courses with the RLSS, where she also serves as a member in the RLSS Committee. She also attended a one day seminar about Children`s Safety with The One

Company in 2007.

Antonella has joined the Mosta Scouts Group Band in December, 2000,she plays drums and she is still part of the Band till date. Antonella was born in 1984 in Mosta, educated at Giovanni Curmi higher Secondary, MCAST and she is still attending a diploma course at the University of Malta. She is presently working at St. Aloysius College B`Kara as a Support Teacher.
